CARE AND APPLICATION GUIDE
PREPARATION

Before attaching your Maggie^TM please ensure that the vehicle surface is clean and dry, and the magnetic side of your Maggie^TM is clean, dry and dust free.

APPLICATION

Place one edge of the Maggie^TM in contact with the vehicle in the required position, then allow the Maggie^TM to position itself in the correct position. If your Maggie^TM is not straight or not in the required position, peel of and repeat the process. Never drag your Maggie^TM across the vehicle surface. Pay attention to all edges of your Maggie as any slight lump will permit air or moisture under the Maggie^TM which could result in detachment from your vehicle. Your Maggie^TM should fit snugly and smoothly against the vehicle.

MAINTENANCE

Remove your Maggie^TM on a regular basis. Ideally once a week. Wipe both sides of the surface of the vehicle and your Maggie^TM. This will prevent moisture from collection, which could damage the surface of the vehicle. In extreme hot or wet conditions, your Maggie^TM should be removed and wiped dry to prevent damage to your Maggie^TM or vehicle. Wash your Maggie^TM with warm soapy water to remove any dirt or road film as required.

STORAGE

When not in use, keep your Maggie^TM flat. Store in a clean environment, preferably at room temperature. Do not place heavy objects or lean on your Maggie^TM. Ideally store your Maggie^TM on a flat steel surface, this prevents the magnetic area attracting airborne dust particles.

PLEASE NOTE:

It is not advisable to apply to newly painted vehicle surfaces (new cars or newly repainted). Allow 3 months after painting and then hand wax prior to application. Maggies^TM should be positioned on the side or rear of vehicles, not on the front of the vehicle. Do not place your Maggie^TM over engine compartments due to the heat from the engine. You should avoid attaching your Maggie^TM to body panels that contain plastic fillers as this may reduce the magnetic effectiveness. Maggies^TM should be fitted to flat areas on a vehicle such as doors, side panels and bumpers. They should not be allowed to go over the trim, sharp contours and panel edges.
